Data for: Hot summers raise public awareness of toxic cyanobacterial blooms

This dataset includes the data used for a study assessing long-term trends in search data from the online search engines Google and Baidu for toxic cyanobacteria in various countries, and their relationship with temperature and precipitation. A specific analyses on data from the Netherlands further focusses on the relationships between online searches in Google and temperature, media attention and cyanobacterial bloom incidence.
