资源简介:
KoFLUX is a network of micrometeorological tower sites that use eddy covariance methods to measure the exchanges of carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor, and energy between terrestrial ecosystem and atmosphere. At present, over 6 tower sites are operating on a long-term and con tinuous basis. Researchers also collect data on site vegetation, soil, hydrologic, and meteorological characteristics at the tower sites.
KoFLUX's goals are to understand the mechanisms controlling the exchanges of CO2, water vapor and energy across a spectrum of time and space scales as one of the membership studies in Asia Flux and FLUXNET. KoFlux also provides ground information for validating estimates of net primary productivity, evaporation, and energy absorption that are being generated by sensors on the NASA TERRA RRA satellite.
KoFlux also has a goal to provide information to FLUXNET investigators and the public. KoFlux data will be available at the ORNL DAAC include monthly and annual heat, waper vapor, and CO2 flux, gap- filled flux products, ecological site data, and remote sensing products.
KoFlux research sites include:
Kwangneung Coniferous Forest , Kwangnung Research Forest, Pochun-gun, Gunggi-do, Korea
Kwangneung Deciduous Forest , Kwangnung Research Forest, Pochun-gun, Gunggi-do, Korea
Hari Rural Rice Paddy, Hari in Sukmo island, Gangwha-gun, Inchon, Korea
Suwon Suburban Rice Paddy, Experimental farm of Seoul National University, Suwon, Korea
Mixed Forests, Tak, Thailand
Farmland, Si Samrong, Thailand
Other sites are under development.
