Bacterial communities along remediation of a shore copper porphyry tailings. Ite

This study presents detailed information about the time-scale evolution of bacterial communities analyzed during the remediation of a section of a porphyry copper tailings deposited at the Bahía de Ite shoreline (Peru). An experimental remediation cell has been flooded and transformed into a wetland in order to stop oxidation processes and immobilize heavy metals.
