资源简介:

Overview This Feature Service provides geospatial data on Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) as determined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for two separate years, 2014 and 2020. BFEs are critical for floodplain management and for guiding construction and development in flood-prone areas. Feature Layers FEMA20202014BFE: This layer represents parcel-level BFEs with data for both 2014 and 2020. It includes maximum static flood elevation values identified for these years. Each feature corresponds to a parcel with attributes including parcel type, unique identifiers like FOLIO and GLOBALID, and the maximum BFE values for each year. Geographic Coverage The dataset covers a coastal metropolitan area in southern Florida, as suggested by the spatial reference and coordinate bounds. This localized focus supports flood risk assessment and mitigation efforts in this region. Applications and Use Cases Supports floodplain management and insurance rate mapping in areas vulnerable to flooding. Helps planners and developers understand changes in flood risk between 2014 and 2020. Enables emergency management agencies to better prepare for flood events based on updated elevation data. Facilitates environmental impact assessments related to flood hazards.
