HLA typing of a family (patient, his mother and father) for donor selection to haploidential transplantation hematopoetic stem cells

Routine procedure of HLA typing was performed for patient (1140-1), mother (1140-2) and father(1140-3). Mother and father was potential donors of HST. Patient and mother had an ambiguous result in Cw locus in high resolution. The common allele of patient and mother would be Cw*06:02:01:01 if in position 756 is C, but we have Y (CT). We suggest a synonymous substitution in exon and a new allele of Cw*06:02 as a result.
