资源简介:
Strain IMT-318T represents a Gram-staining negative, rod-shaped bacterium isolated from soil of a field in Malvern, Alabama, U.S.A. continuously amended with humic acid. Phylogenetic analysis based on the 16S rRNA gene placement the strain within the genus Pigmentiphaga with highest 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity of 98.74 % and 98.67% to the type strain of Pigmentiphaga kullae and Pigmentiphaga daeguensis, respectively. Sequence similarities to all other species of the genus were below 98.0 %. The chemotaxonomic analysis showed however clear similarities to the genus Pigmentiphaga. Based on phylogenetic, chemotaxonomic, and phenotypic analyses the strains seems to present a novel species of the genus Pigmentiphaga.
