First-order reversal curves and temperatur dependency of magnetic susceptibility of core Co1401 from Levinson-Lessing Lake, Siberia

First-order reversal curves (FORC) were obtained using a Lakeshore VSM 8604. The data set includes sets of five to six identical measurements from six gel capsule samples from sediment core Co14012 from Levinson-Lessing Lake in Siberia. In the associated study, these files were stacked to reduce the signal-to-noise ratio. The mass of the samples is stated in the data of the hysteresis measurements performed.<br>Measurements of the temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility were performed using magnetically extracted material from the same freeze-dried sediment from which the FORC samples were prepared. The measurement was performed with an Agico MFK2 Kappabridge. Both measurements were perfomed in the Rock and Palaeomangeitc Laboratory of the University of Cologne, Germany.
