Six charcoal samples from Sites 5LA1416 and 5LA1425 were submitted for identification.
These sites are located along the Purgatoire River about 10 kilometers upstream from Trinidad,
Colorado. Samples were submitted for identification prior to radiocarbon analysis to determine the
best samples to submit for dating.
