资源简介:
This collection includes the paired-end Ilumina raw sequences from a transcriptomic experiment. Samples were obtained by infecting Atlantic salmon kidney (ASK) cells, in triplicate, with two different orthomyxoviruses: Pilchard orthomyxovirus (POMV) and Infectious salmon anaemia virus (ISAV). The experiment also included a negative control. ISAV is a virus of serious concern to global salmon aquaculture, and still exotic to Australia. POMV is a virus which recently (2006) emerged in Tasmania (Australia) and is causing severe disease outbreaks affecting farmed Atlantic salmon. POMV has a morphology that is consistent with the Orthomyxoviridae family, which is the virus family that includes Influenza and ISAV. The aim of this study was to compare the transcriptomic response of salmon host cells (ASKs) during infection with both ISAV and POMV at different time points. Findings from these study could aid the development of early detection methods
