The Jemseg-Grand Lake Watershed Water Quality Monitoring Project aims to build community partnerships, identify field sites, and develop and implement sampling protocols for long term, community-based monitoring of the Jemseg-Grand Lake watershed. Water quality data is collected through portable water quality sensors and grab samples sent for laboratory analysis. This information is analyzed with historical data from the Jemseg-Grand Lake Watershed Association to determine water quality status and trends in the watershed. This project began in 2019.
