The effect of transverse aortic constriction on gene expression in Balb/cJ versus Balb/cByJ(?ACADS) mice hearts

RNA-Seq data show that ACADS knockout curbs gene expression after transverse aortic constriction in mice Overall design: Balb/cJ and Balb/cByJ mice were fed either a low-fat (10 Kcal%) diet for 4 days before subjecting them to a sham or transverse aortic constriction (TAC) surgeries. The mice were maintained on the same diet for another week, before they were assessed by echocardiography, the hearts isolated, RNA extracted, sequenced using Illumina NextSeq 500, and analyzed by DESeq2 at 10%FDR (adjusted p-value).
