This dataset is developed based on authoritative statistical yearbooks covering economic and social statistical data at the provincial, prefecture-level city, and county-level administrative divisions. It presents key indicator data in the form of ranked percentiles, allowing users to intuitively analyze and evaluate the performance of each indicator across the spatial scope of China's 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), all prefecture-level and above cities, and all counties (county-level cities, municipal districts), as well as the time frame from 2010 to 2023. For national and provincial government departments, it can be used for regional development pattern analysis and policy formulation; for municipal strategy makers and investment institutions, it can assess urban competitiveness and investment potential; for county-level managers and research institutions, it can support policy research and implementation for rural revitalization and coordinated urban-rural development.
