NCKU-CSRDC CubeSat Thermal Analysis Results Dataset: Multi-Satellite Solar Flux and Temperature Computations

This is a database that contains solar flux and thermal analysis computations of four CubeSats from NCKU-CSRDC: IRIS-A, Lilium-1, Lilium-2, and Lilium-3. The files are organized as follows: Solar Flux: computations of the amount of solar flux received by different CubeSat configurations in LEO SSO with LTDN 10:00. The specific models and configuration schematics can be seen in the accompanying publised paper (currently under revision). The dataset contains values for 20 orbits of each spacecraft, with very little variation. Thermal analysis computations: the solar fluxes, along with solar albedo, Earth IR, radiative exchange, and conduction boundary conditions have been implemented in the computation of the thermal model for each spacecraft during four orbits and presented here. Some useful abbreviations: IA: IRIS-A L1: Lilium-1 L2: Lilium-2 L3: Lilium-3 OBC: On-Board Computer EPS: Electrical Power Subsystem Bat: Battery PCU: Power Control Unit (main EPS board in the bigger satellites) PDU: Power Distribution Unit (in the bigger satellites) PBU: Power Battery Unit (batteries in the bigger satellites) ADCS: Attitude Determination and Control Subsystem MAG: Magnetometer TRXVU: VHF/UHF Transmitter (board) Ant: Antenna MB: Motherboard Notes: All solar flux computations were made with the same orbit, starting at UTC Jan 1, 2026, 2:00.
