Finland: Food, beverage and tobacco sales revenue in specialized stores 2015-2022

The turnover of the retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco in specialised stores in Finland decreased by 33.9 million euros (-1.96 percent) in 2022 in comparison to the previous year. This was the first time during the observed period that the turnover in this industry declined in Finland. Notably, the turnover in this industry is continuously decreasing over the last years.Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
