Votes for far-right parties in the French legislative elections in 2022

A quarter of French people who voted in the 2022 legislative elections supported a far-right candidate in their district. This proportion was even higher among employees and workers: among the latter, one in two people voted for a candidate of Reconquête! or Marine Le Pen's party. In the first round of the April 2022 presidential elections, the National Rally candidate received 23.2 percent of the vote, the highest score ever recorded by the far-right party in a presidential election since its creation.
