Magnetic Anomaly Data of Auckland Volcanic Field

This dataset is the aeromagnetic anomaly data of the Auckland Volcanic Field (AVF), covering most of the field except for the Boggust Park volcano. The data were initially published by Eccles et al. (2005), Cassidy et al. (1999), and Rout et al. (1993). The aeromagnetic data has been de-spiked but not micro-levelled due to the absence of tying lines. <b>Diurnal magnetic variations have been removed from all data except Craig Miller's southern AVF aeromagnetic data (CA_Miller_1996_AVF_SouthPart.csv) due to instrumental errors</b>. Please consult Eccles (2003), Miller (1996), and Rout (1991) for more details. X-Y positions are given in NZMG and NZTM coordinate systems, while flight Z is relative to the ground and sea surfaces.
