Infrared thermography for localizing muscle activation during provoked knee Abduction: An exploratory study in healthy individuals

This dataset contains anonymized biomechanical data collected from healthy volunteers performing a controlled single-leg squat task. The data were obtained as part of a study investigating lower-limb joint kinematics, thermal response, and movement control during functional tasks.

The dataset includes raw and processed joint angle data (flexion and abduction), EMG, thermography, and reference files used for data analysis. Each participant’s data are stored in separate folders with coded subject IDs to ensure privacy.

Motion data were recorded using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) system following a standardized experimental protocol. Processed joint angle time-series were derived using MATLAB scripts, which are also included in this repository.

This dataset can be used for studies related to human movement analysis, thermal response assessment. All data have been fully anonymized to comply with ethical standards.
