Parent Washington Navel orange Genome sequencing and assembly

We provide a chromosome-level assembly of the sweet orange cultivar "Parent Washington Navel orange". Many cultivated citrus types are recent interspecific hybrids of a few progenitor species. This genome was meant to facilitate genomic investigation of citrus evolution and domestication and provide a high-quality reference for future gene-editing studies.
