Endangered species protection in North West Queensland through habitat enhancing

The project aims to protect the Endangered Julia Creek Dunnart by reducing threats from grazing and weed invasion. This project will first secure the viability of the captive-bred dunnarts at the Julia Creek aerodrome by repairing the fence and restoring the habitat. The team will undertake a survey to identify existing colonies and potential sites for other releases of captive-bred animals.
