TEAch Primary Aims dataset

This is the first adequately placebo-controlled RCT to evaluate the efficacy of pain science education combined with exercise on pain and function for a chronic musculoskeletal condition. In addition, this is the first RCT to examine the impact of education and exercise on fear of movement and other pain-related psychosocial factors in tendinopathy. The study design and primary outcomes were registered a priori on clinicaltrials.gov (NCT04059146) and at Open Science Framework (osf.io/jf2xu). The data included in this dataset were used for the analysis published in Pain in 2022 (linked to this record and cited in readme file). The education and exercise program used in this clinical are also provided with this dataset with pdfs of the patient handouts provided (1A-1F). The handouts also include links to the YouTube videos that were used in patient education.
