Finnish Suicide Mortality Time Series 1751-2010

The data contain information on suicides among Finns from 1751 to 2010. The time series data on suicide mortality is compiled from population and cause of death statistics from the Finnish statistical authorities. The tabular data file contains annual data on the total number of suicides, the size of the population and the number of suicides per 100,000 inhabitants by gender, from 1751 to 1877. From 1878 onwards, the dataset also contains corresponding monthly data.
