The Niami Framework of Structural Subjectivity: An Agent-Based Model of Ontological Leakage, Dynamic Masking, and Systemic Extraction in Late Modernity

AbstractThis paper develops a formal agent-based model (ABM) of subjectivity under conditions of late modernity, extending the Niami Framework of Structural Subjectivity (NFSS). The framework conceptualizes subjectivity not as a stable identity structure but as a dynamic system of regulated coherence under continuous ontological leakage, systemic extraction, and adaptive masking. Drawing on complexity theory and social ontology, the model formalizes subjectivity as a recursive interaction between internal coherence (I), leakage dynamics (L), regenerative capacity (R), and masking functions (M), embedded within an external systemic pressure field (E). The model demonstrates how macro-level phenomena such as burnout, cyclical instability, and adaptive resilience emerge from micro-level interactions without requiring exogenous psychological assumptions.
