Itineraries for Urban Transportation to Athens are included. The data includes bus and trolley bus stops and routes. The data is provided in the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS). The published data shall show, as an approximation, the operational status of the urban transport network of the capital at the indicated date of issue only. This is likely to have been altered or altered at any time, without notice and without any liability of Athens Transport. The geographical accuracy of the data is limited, as the digitization has not been done with topographical mapping accuracy, but on the basis of purely descriptive data (e.g. the side of the local authority on which a stop is recorded). Therefore, the positioning accuracy can be, indicatively, within ±20 metres in urban areas (where there are clear and relatively small O.T. sizes) and above ±50 metres in semi-urban areas (where O.T.s are not clear or are too large). Therefore, this data may not be suitable for all applications. Express lines are subject to boarding-disembarkation restrictions at certain stops along their route. Interested parties can consult the Athens Transportation website (www.oasa.gr), the OASA Telematics application (News Menu) and/or contact the Athens Transportation Telephone Information Centre (tel. 11185) in order to be informed of any regular or extraordinary changes in the operation of urban transport. In any case, the level of accuracy of the data is determined by the needs and capabilities of Athens Transportation and may not be suitable for use by third parties for purposes not foreseen by Athens Transportation.
