Polypeptides against plant pathogenic fungi

The present invention discloses a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence identical to at least 12 amino acid residues of SEQ ID NO: 2. The polypeptide according to the present invention is effective against fungi， in particular fungi that cause plant diseases， and fungi that colonize agricultural products. The invention also discloses such polypeptides and methods of making nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides. In addition， the present invention relates to methods and formulations for the treatment of plants using the polypeptides according to the present invention， and to the use of the nucleic acids according to the present invention for producing crops protected against damage from fungi.
