This metadata entry refers to measurements of atmospheric and oceanic organosulfur compounds made by Sue Turner and Gill Malin, and oceanic carbon dioxide made by J. Robertson, during the Challenger 16 research cruise in the North Atlantic. The cruise began on 8 June 1987 and ended on 3 July 1987, with a spatial coverage of 64.3N to 54.2N latitude and 1.5W to 20.0W longitude.
Organosulfur data consists of 175 measurements of DMS and DMSP in the ocean were made using cryogenic purge and trap extraction technique and measured using FPD gas chromatography.
