BreaKHis v1 is a publicly available dataset for breast cancer histopathological image classification. It contains 7,909 RGB images (2,480 benign, 5,429 malignant) acquired from 82 patients at 40×, 100×, 200×, and 400× magnification factors, with a resolution of 700×460 and saved in PNG format. This dataset was constructed by the P&D Laboratory of Brazil. The naming convention of each image includes the biopsy method, tumor category, tumor type, patient ID, and magnification factor. This dataset supports studies on benign-malignant classification of breast cancer, and is applicable to medical image analysis and medical large language model training. It features multiple magnification levels, clear annotations, and authoritative sources, which facilitates algorithm benchmark testing and clinical auxiliary diagnosis applications.
