Lactobacillus Firm5 in vivo and in vitro RNA sequencing

We report the transcriptome of four strains of the Lactobacillus Firm5 phylotype obtained with in vivo and in vitro experiments under different nutrient conditions Overall design: In vivo experiment: microbiota depleted bees were colonized with the four strains community and divided into a treatment without access to pollen and a treatment with access to pollen. In vitro experiment: Firm5 strains were cultures as a community as well as mono-cultures in presence or absence of pollen. We compare gene expression between treatments to understand the impact of diet and presence of other strains on gene expression.
