R. etli bv mimosae represent a symbiovar defined by its capacity to nodulate common bean and the wild leguminous plant Mimosa affinis. The strain reported here, Mim1, was isolated in Huautla, Morelos, Mexico. Goals: Genome sequencing of representative strains of the symbiovars of R. etli, and comparative genomics among them. Relevance: This study will help to better taxonomic definitions of the structure of R. etli species.
