THO5 subunit of the Arabidopsis TREX complex: role in mRNA export and heat tolerance

Characterisation of the Arabidopsis transcription-export (TREX) core complex THO by affinity purification combined with mass spectrometry (AP-MS) revealed that both THO5A and THO5B are components of the complex. Functional assays demonstrate a role in nucleocytosolic mRNA transport in plants.
