Annotated Genomes of Methylobacterium and Methylorubrum Isolates from Cd-contaminated Soils in the Tar Creek Superfund Site

Eight strains of Methylobacterium and one strain of Methylorubrum were isolated from soils in the Tar Creek Superfund Site in the presence of cadmium. These genomes give insight in to bacterial survival mechanisms in the presence of high concentrations of Cd. The IMG Annotation Pipeline (v.4) was used for annotation and comparative analyses of these genomes.
