The polymicrobial biofilm communities in Mushroom and Octopus Spring in Yellowstone National Park (YNP) are well characterized, yet little is known about the phage populations. To analyze phage populations from Octopus Spring biofilms, we sequenced, assembled, and analyzed a viral enriched fraction.
