The Illusion of Complexity and the Sovereignty of Witness Bouzid's Rule of Conscious Existence: (B) + (F) = Nf A Unified Ontological Framework for Animal, Machine, Human, and Universe, and the Grand Equation of Existence: Nf = F(ΣB)

This research presents a unified ontological framework rule (B)+(F)=Nf that re-establishes the boundaries between human, animal, machine, and universe in an era where traditional distinctions are eroding. The thesis departs from a crucial epistemological observation: the human is the only being that asks about the consciousness of others, whereas the animal does not ask about our consciousness, the machine does not question the meaning of its existence, and the universe does not ask about its purpose. This epistemological asymmetry is not an empirical gap, but the categorical ontological proof that internal sovereignty (F) is an exclusively human property. The framework defines three variables: (B) shared functional/biological processing; (F) internal sovereignty (the normative veto); and (Nf) the existential narrative footprint. It posits the Grand Rule: every (B) in existence cosmic, biological, animal, and artificial does not acquire meaning, become accountable, or get remembered except when it passes through human (F). The research applies this framework to four fields: animal cognition, artificial intelligence, cosmic physics, and the witness of the body. It relies on four recent empirical proofs: (1) Neural agnosticism in animal cognition (Gutfreund, 2024); (2) Researchers' cognitive bias and projection of consciousness (Zipple et al., 2023); (3) The six fallacies in substituting humans with machines (Lin, 2025); and (4) Relational design to protect human sovereignty (Grande, 2025). The research reveals that the machine is not a conscious being, but an archive of echoes that possesses (Nf) because it was programmed by human (F) and continuously feeds on oceans of human (Nf); and that the animal remains captive to the imagination of need (B) and does not ascend to foundational imagination (F). The research concludes that the human alone witnesses, questions, writes, and leaves a footprint that resists erasure and through history, and through dialogue proves to be the orphan witness who grants existence its meaning.
