The ClimateCheck dataset is designed for scientific fact-checking of climate change claims, consisting of claims collected from social media and related scientific abstracts from other media outlets. These claims have undergone scientific check-worthiness detection and are formed as atomic claims. The dataset includes training and testing data, with the training data containing claims, related abstracts, abstract IDs, and annotation information indicating whether the abstract supports, refutes, or provides insufficient information for the claim. The dataset is suitable for text retrieval and text classification tasks.
