Spiking of isolated CA1 cells while a rat runs a 3-arm maze. Only periods of running towards the port are preserved. Sampling frequency is 25 Hz. In the following, T = 7232 time steps and N = 610 neurons.lapID = A T x 3 matrix.1st column = trial number, 2nd column = arm being occupied, 3rd column = corresponding sample in the original, untruncated data.<br>pos = A T x 1 matrix indicating the animal's position along the track, in camera pixels.<br>X = A T x N matrix of binned spike counts<br>Xfilt = A T x N matrix of spiking after applying a low-pass filter (done prior to sub-selecting periods of running).<br>
