"This dataset and simulator package presents a synthetic executable companion to A Future Without Elevators, a speculative work imagining a world in which all elevators cease functioning in 2029. Developed by DBbun LLC, the package includes an automatically generated agent-based simulation, synthetic output datasets, scenario summaries, and figures designed to operationalize the story\u2019s central social and urban dynamics. The model captures impacts on floor occupancy, property value by elevation, accessibility for elderly and mobility-impaired populations, public health, emergency response, community cohesion, and long-term urban development. The package contains 5 simulation scenarios, 20 parameters, 15 dataset columns, and multiple output visualizations over a 12-month period.
