Analyzing the clinical characteristics and blood markers of hospitalized patients with COPD and asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease overlap

Clinical characteristics were collected from medical records, including age, smoking index(number of cigarettes smoked per day×number of years smoking), body mass index (BMI), duration of clinical symptoms (cough, expectoration, difficulty breathing, fatigue, etc), pulmonary nodules, emphysema, whether or not quit smoking, whether to quit smoking, the time to quit smoking, whether to use inhalational medication, and peripheral blood leukocyte count, monocyte count, monocyte percentage, neutrophil count, neutrophil percentage, lymphocyte count, lymphocyte percentage, and platelet count, mean platelet volume, mean red blood cell volume, fibrinogen, cholesterol, bilirubin, the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), the platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR).
