1970s - 1980s Kooyman-Billups TDR Records from Weddell Seals in McMurdo Sound

This dataset includes dive records from Weddell Seals located in McMurdo Sound, Antarctica from the austral summers of 1978, 1979, and 1981 using Kooyman-Billups Time Depth Recorders. The data were recovered from xeroxed paper scrolls using a code package that can be accessed here (https://github.com/EmmaLiTsai/recoverKBTDR). This recovery process involved record scanning, image processing, and bias correction such that the historic data are directly comparable with dive data from modern instruments. These data are stored as comma-separated value files for each individual and metadata is provided that describes all provided columns.
