Spectral and elemental data (MIR, NIR, XRF) from soil and charred material in fire-managed Cerrado areas (Brazil)

This dataset contains spectral and elemental data collected from soil and charred material samples in the Cerrado biome, under different fire management regimes (prescribed fire and no fire). Spectral data were acquired using:

Mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy (4000–400 cm⁻¹)
Visible–near infrared (Vis-NIR) spectroscopy (350–2500 nm)
X-ray fluorescence (XRF) for elemental analysis
Data are organized by material type (soil or charred material), spectroscopy method, and granulometric fraction (coarse and fine). Each spreadsheet includes sample IDs, fire management information, and spectral or elemental values. These data support modeling of total carbon (TC) and pyrogenic carbon (PC) using spectroscopic techniques.
