NHSRS - Buffer for Core Features

Last data update: October 30, 2018 A 30 m buffer was applied to the boundaries of core features except watercourses, fish habitat and shoreline where the riparian area was considered a setback to the features. Ortho-photography from 2013, LSRCA's landcover layer from 2015, and field truth surveys from 2016 and 2017. Landcover and ortho-imagery initially used is now outdated. These buffers end when they reach a road or railway.
