Data for, "Sulfur Isotopes Reveal Persistent Coal Influence and Increasing Oxidation Efficiency During Sulfur Dioxide Emission Decline"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains atmospheric sulfur measurements used to investigate long-term changes in sulfate abundance, sulfur oxidation, and sulfur isotope composition in Rhode Island during a period of substantial declines in anthropogenic sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions. The dataset includes non-sea-salt sulfate (nss-SO4) aerosol concentrations, sulfur oxidation ratios (SOR), and sulfur isotope compositions (δ34S) of nss-SO4 from two monitoring locations: - Providence, Rhode Island (PVD): urban site- West Greenwich, Rhode Island (WG): suburban/rural site The measurements span portions of 2005–2015 and were used to evaluate how atmospheric sulfate concentrations, sulfur oxidation efficiency, and sulfur isotope composition responded to changing regional sulfur emissions.
