资源简介:
The survey on supervisory arrangements, employment and use of cash benefits in families is carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Children and Equality (BFD). The background for this survey is the Norwegian Parliament's decision to introduce the cash benefit in the fall of 1997. Statistics Norway (SSB) carried out a survey on behalf of BFD in the spring of 1998 in order to study the situation for families with small children before the cash benefit arrangement was introduced, and the 1999 survey follows up the survey from 1998 by mapping out the situation for families right after the arrangement has been introduced. The goal is to map out the situation for families concerning such issues as child care, employment and economy, as well as examining the effects cash benefits have on families with small children. The scope of the survey in 1999 is somewhat broader than in 1998. The survey is conducted as a panel study, as one has attempted to interview the same respondents that participated in the previous survey. In addition, the sample is extended by 1500 respondents.
This data documentation applies to the main file. In addition, one can add information about the persons who are included in the respondent's household. This is documented in a separate file.
