Genomic characterization of Listeria monocytogenes isolated from small ruminants in integrated crop-livestock systems

Using 30 isolates obtained from our previous integrated crop-livestock field trials, this study aimed to 1) assess the genetic similarity of L. monocytogenes detected in fecal and soil samples detected, and 2) characterize L. monocytogenes isolates from the feces of asymptomatic sheep and goats used for grazing, using whole genome sequence data.
