Epiphytic microbiota of grass-clover herbages and silages made thereof.

Grass-clover herbage was collected at different locations in Sweden during the years 2018 and 2019. The epiphytic microbiota was evaluated and silages were made with three different treatments. After ensiling for 100 days, silages were evaluated for their microbiota and other relevant parameters. The main aim was to evaluate transfer of microbiota from herbage to silage. This data is part of a bigger project where we evaluate the flow of lactic acid bacteria from field to milk of dairy cows, and finally the cheese made thereof.
