Data and code supporting: D13.1 – Predictive Digital Twin architecture preparing to feed the DSS - DuneFront Project

This dataset contains the prototype of the Predictive Digital Twin (PDT) developed within Deliverable D13.1 of the DuneFront EU project (https://www.dunefront.eu). The prototype integrates numerical models for shoreline and beach–dune morphodynamics and supports testing of vegetation effects, hard coastal structures, and model coupling strategies in the context of hybrid dune-dike systems. Running instructions are included in the README file. <br>The repository includes standalone one-dimensional model configurations as well as a coupled shoreline–dune model, together with example cases for Katwijk (NL), Oosteroever (BE), and Hondsbossche Duinen (NL). For the Hondsbossche case, both a command-line execution and a simplified frontend–backend (web-interface) integration are provided to demonstrate digital twin capabilities.<br>The code is intended for demonstration, reporting, and internal research purposes only. It represents an evolving prototype rather than a fully operational tool. A final public release is planned within the DuneFront project timeframe.
