Sequencing of the L. rhinocerotis genome serves as a model for better understanding and aid in discovery of prospective bioactive compounds as well as understanding of its phylogenetic relationship with other medicinal mushroom. Data from this study will provide an informative podium to facilitate future research and exploitation of L. rhinocerotis in pharmacological and functional food applications.
