Transcriptome of Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus HD100 wild-type and merRNA mutant across different growth phases

This dataset comprises RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) data from Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus HD100, a predatory bacterium, and its merRNA mutant across five distinct life cycle stages: Attack Phase 1 (AP1, 0 hours), Attack Phase 2 (AP2, 8 hours post-prey depletion), Growth Phase 1 (GP1, 30 minutes post-prey invasion), Growth Phase 2 (GP2, 180 minutes post-prey invasion), and Growth Phase 3 (GP3, 220 minutes post-prey invasion). The RNA-Seq data were generated to study the differential gene expression regulated by the cyclic-di-GMP riboswitch, merRNA, which is hypothesized to play a crucial role in bacterial motility, predation efficiency, and survival under nutrient-depleted conditions. This data provides valuable insights into the regulatory mechanisms of bacterial predation and the molecular effects of riboswitches in B. bacteriovorus.
