Patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma experienced grade 4 neutropenia

Classification of dataset variables include: (1) Demographic baseline indicators Age, gender, weight loss, smoking history and drinking history. (2) Clinicopathological tumour‑related indicators TNM stage, pathological classification (non‑keratinizing type, keratinizing type, basal‑like type), serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), haemoglobin, bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, total protein and albumin levels, anatomic sites invaded by the primary nasopharyngeal tumour, and cervical lymph‑node metastasis status. (3) Treatment‑related independent variables Radiotherapy modality, total radiotherapy dose, fractionation regimen, chemotherapy administration status, induction chemotherapy, concurrent chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy. (4) Comorbidities and laboratory indicators Hypertension and diabetes mellitus. (5) Outcome and derived variables Occurrence of grade‑4 neutropenia
