Gallup Omnibus Data 1971, omnibus nr. 08

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1971 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1971. # #Each of the 11 omnibuses consists of a number of recurring questions as well as a number of special questions (concerning topical events). Omnibus no. 08 comprises all the questions put to a total of 1311 persons (the number weighted=1994). # The omnibus includes questions about e.g. the respondent's residence according to degree of urbanization, sex, age and marital status; the respondent's occupational status and education. In addition to this, some questions have been included which deal with the respondent's gross income, gross household income, the bread-winner's occupation, number of persons in household, type of accommodation, number of children (persons under 15), number of adults (persons aged 15 and over), the respondent's status in household, spouse's status, social group, and party preference. These questions are common to all 1971 omnibuses. # This survey includes questions about attitudes to Danish membership of the EC (provided that Great Britain joins the EC simultaneously); the referendum on Danish membership of the EC; knowledge of the EC; diplomatic recognition of North Vietnam; opinions of the achievements of various political parties; the order of priority of important problems which must be solved (housing problems, economic problems, pollution, traffic problems, social welfare problems, the health sector, development aid); the tight economic policy in Denmark; opinions of the VKR Government (i.e. the Liberal Party, the Conservative People's party and the Radical Liberal Party); government preference; and the debate about the death criterion
