Preliminary Participatory Validation with Deaf Colombian Sign Language Users: Supporting Materials
收藏资源简介:
This record contains supporting materials from a preliminary participatory validation process conducted within the research project “AI-assisted Educational Platform for Mathematical Learning in Colombian Sign Language.” The participatory component complements the technical and pedagogical literature reviews used to derive preliminary design principles for the proposed educational architecture. At the current stage, the questionnaire directed to deaf users of Colombian Sign Language (LSC) has been administered, yielding 21 valid responses. Participants provided their responses in LSC through video recordings, which were subsequently translated into Spanish with the support of LSC interpreters for organization and analysis. The deposited materials include the questionnaire administered to deaf LSC users, the questionnaire designed for LSC interpreters, and an anonymized preliminary synthesis of the available results. The interpreter questionnaire has not yet been administered and is included only to document the planned continuation of the participatory process. The results reported in this version are preliminary and should not be interpreted as a complete validation of the proposed platform or as evidence of learning outcomes. Their purpose is to contextualize and refine initial design decisions related to accessibility, linguistic mediation, multimodal presentation, interaction, feedback, and cultural and linguistic relevance. Further participation by deaf LSC users, interpreter consultation, and subsequent validation activities will be incorporated as the Design-Based Research (DBR) process progresses. For privacy and ethical reasons, original participant video recordings and personally identifiable information are not included in this public record. Only research instruments and anonymized or aggregated analytical materials intended for open dissemination are deposited.
