PHIDU - Community Strengths (LGA) 2014-2016

This dataset, released July 2018, contains the community strength of areas based on Voluntary work for an organisation or group - people aged 15 years and over, 2016; Estimated number of people aged 18 years and over who did unpaid voluntary work in the last 12 months through an organisation (modelled estimates), 2014; Estimated number of people aged 18 years and over who are able to get support in times of crisis from people outside the household (modelled estimates), 2014; Estimated number of people aged 18 years and over (or their partner) who provide support to other relatives living outside the household (modelled estimates), 2014; Estimated number of people aged 18 years and over who disagree/strongly disagree with acceptance of other cultures (modelled estimates), 2014; Estimated number of people aged 18 years and over who, in the past 12 months, felt that they had experienced discrimination or have been treated unfairly by others (modelled estimates), 2014.\n\nThe data is by Local Government Area (LGA) 2016 geographic boundaries.\n\nFor more information please see the [data source notes](https://phidu.torrens.edu.au/current/data/sha-aust/notes/phidu_data_sources_notes.pdf) on the data. \n\nSource: Compiled by PHIDU based on the ABS Census of Population and Housing, August 2016; Estimates for Population Health Areas (PHAs) are modelled estimates and were produced by the ABS from the 2014 General Social Survey; estimates at the LGA and PHN level were derived from the PHA estimates; Estimates for Quintiles and Remoteness Areas were compiled by PHIDU based on direct estimates from the 2014 General Social Survey, ABS Survey TableBuilder.\n\n AURIN has spatially enabled the [original data](https://phidu.torrens.edu.au/social-health-atlases/data#social-health-atlases-of-australia-local-government-areas). 本数据集于2018年7月发布，涵盖基于2016年15岁及以上人群为某组织或团体提供志愿工作情况统计得到的区域社区力量指标；同时包含以下2014年的模型估算数据：1. 过去12个月内通过某组织开展无报酬志愿工作的18岁及以上人群估算数量；2. 遭遇危机时可获得家庭外人员支持的18岁及以上人群估算数量；3. 为居住在家庭外的其他亲属提供支持的18岁及以上人群（或其伴侣）估算数量；4. 反对/强烈反对接纳其他文化的18岁及以上人群估算数量；5. 过去12个月内曾遭受歧视或被他人不公平对待的18岁及以上人群估算数量。

本数据以2016年地方政府区域（Local Government Area, LGA）地理边界为统计单元。

数据来源：由PHIDU基于2016年8月澳大利亚统计局（Australian Bureau of Statistics, ABS）人口与住房普查数据编制；人口健康区域（Population Health Areas, PHAs）的估算值为模型估算值，由ABS依据2014年综合社会调查生成；地方政府区域与PHN层级的估算值源自人口健康区域估算结果；五分位数组与偏远区域的估算值由PHIDU依据2014年综合社会调查、ABS调查表格生成器（ABS Survey TableBuilder）的直接估算结果编制而成。
